Middle & High School Programs

Safe Teens is a child abuse prevention education program for children grades 6th-12th.

Safe Teens meets the State of Oregon requirement for Erin’s Law.* The curriculum is youth-centered and interactive and uses conversation, videos, activities, and group work to teach students how to prevent abuse and interpersonal violence by focusing on healthy relationships, healthy development, and safe environments.

The program for 6th-8th grade is taught in four class sessions over the year, typically in a Health classroom setting.

The program for 9th-12th grade offers up to 10 lessons to schools but can be tailored to school needs and condensed to as little as four 50-minute sessions.

We report any disclosures of abuse or neglect to the Oregon Department of Human Services or law enforcement.

Upon request, adult workshops are also offered to school personnel, parents, or community groups. For more information email Prevention@JuliettesHouse.org.
