Every Child Deserves More Than Survival.

They deserve the opportunity to thrive.

For 30 years, Juliette’s House has helped children and families move from trauma toward safety, healing, and hope.

Today, we’re building something bigger: a regional Continuum of Hope that surrounds children and families with support—from prevention and immediate intervention to healing, resilience, and a hopeful future.

A New Chapter in Child Safety

For nearly three decades, Juliette’s House has been here when children need us most.

Our story began in 1994, when local professionals and community leaders came together to create a child-centered response to child abuse—one safe place where children could receive coordinated medical, forensic, and advocacy services without having to repeatedly retell their experiences.

That vision became Juliette’s House.

Today, we are a National Children’s Alliance-accredited Children’s Advocacy Center, providing coordinated services to children and families across our region. Our work has grown to include prevention education, trauma-focused counseling, family advocacy, and programs designed to help children build resilience after trauma.

But our vision for the future goes beyond responding to abuse.

What if every child had the opportunity not only to
survive trauma—but to thrive?

What is a Children’s Advocacy Center?

A Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) is a child-focused, safe place where abuse victims get coordinated help from a team of professionals in one place, reducing trauma by preventing the child from retelling their story multiple times to different agencies. Juliette’s House provides forensic interviews, medical exams, therapy, and support, ensuring a sensitive, evidence-based response to child abuse investigations, and is accredited by the National Children's Alliance (NCA) for quality.

The Continuum of Hope

Prevention. Intervention. Healing. Resilience.

A child’s journey doesn't begin when a crisis occurs—and healing doesn't end when an appointment does. Children thrive when they have safe relationships, caring adults, supportive communities, opportunities to develop strengths, and access to help when they need it.

That is why Juliette’s House is building a Continuum of Hope.

PREVENT

Give children and adults the knowledge and skills to recognize abuse, establish healthy boundaries, and create safer environments.

INTERVENE

When abuse or trauma is suspected, provide a coordinated, child-centered response that prioritizes safety, dignity, and support.

HEAL

Provide trauma-informed counseling, family advocacy, and ongoing support that help children and families move forward.

BUILD RESILIENCE

Create opportunities for children to develop hope, confidence, connection, character, and the belief that trauma does not have to define their future.

The Future We're Building

From responding to trauma to building resilience.

For 30 years, Juliette’s House has responded when children needed help. The next chapter is about building what children and families need before, during, and after crisis.

A community where:

Prevention is proactive: Children and adults have the knowledge and tools to create safer environments.

Intervention is coordinated: Children receive compassionate, specialized care when abuse is suspected.

Healing is accessible: Children and families have somewhere to turn for ongoing support.

Resilience is nurtured: Children have relationships, opportunities, and experiences that help them imagine a future beyond trauma.

Hope grows.

This is our Continuum of Hope.

You Are Part of the Continuum

We can't build it alone.

A safer, healthier community doesn't happen because of one organization. It happens because people choose to care.

You can be part of the Continuum of Hope:
